The Portland Storyteller’s Project

The Portland Storytellers Project logoHosts: Cat North
Contact: Through Facebook Page
Description: The Portland Storyteller’s Project meets every second and fourth monday of the month. The storytelling forum is this — each time we meet, we have a theme. Each person who wishes to participate gets 3-5 minutes to tell us a personal anecdote (or a fictional one) about a memorable time in their life, or in a life imagined which relates to the theme with no props or musical accompaniment — so leave your guitar at home. You are not James Taylor. Improvisation is encouraged, but if you would like to read aloud, go ahead!Anybody can sign up to tell a story! Anybody can listen! We will always be FREE and ALL AGES, but use your discretion with the kids. This type of storytelling is usually candid and unedited, and often includes adult content, etc. etc.
Location: Star E Rose Cafe,  2403 NE Alberta St., Portland, OR 97211
Past Thems: Parents, Living Outside the Law; The Internet; Bad Romance.
